HCC Automotive COE partners with Schneider for hiring opportunities

The Houston Community College Automotive Center of Excellence (COE) welcomed Mr. Jeremy Gannon of Schneider to introduce students to job opportunities at the company. This partnership was a result of ongoing efforts from Dean David Vogel to expose students to automotive career options.

Northeast College launches 'One Button Studio'

HCC students had an opportunity to test a new form of technology at the launch of the "One Button Studio" on Wednesday, February 22 at the Codwell Library located at the Northeast Campus -Learning Hub Building, 555 Community College Drive 77013. Faculty and students watched demonstrations and tried their hand at making a high–quality video with the push of a single button.

HCC memorandum for F-1 international students on FX and W grades

Effective Fall 2017, HCC F-1 international students must earn letter grades (A, B, C, D or F). A grade of a “W” (withdrawn) or “FX” (failing due to non-attendance) will not count towards the full-time enrollment requirement. “W” or “FX” is not considered a valid letter grade and demonstrates the student is not maintaining F-1 immigration status.
